Event Details

Want a patent but not sure where to start? Well, you're not alone. Securing one can be a daunting process, but if armed with insider guidance, even a novice can successfully learn to navigate the system.

On Wednesday, Sept. 12, Dykema Gossett PLLC, a national law firm with offices in Detroit, Bloomfield Hills, Ann Arbor and Lansing, will share its trade secrets to entrepreneurs in need of some guidance. Attendees will leave with a firm understanding of the process, common misconceptions and pitfalls, considerations for investors or purchasers, and strategies to reduce costs.

Free parking is available in the MDOT lot on Amsterdam between Woodward and Cass.

TechTown can only accept cash payments at the door.

Legal Notes is a quarterly workshop focused on the legal concerns of entrepreneurs. For more information on TechTown's programs, visit techtowndetroit.org.
